Last night’s episode of DB Super was incredible.
First of all we saw Hit increase his time-leap from 0.1 seconds to 0.5 seconds, and then Goku pulled out a Kaioken x10 while in his “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Blue” form.
And, it’s only going to get better. According to the preview for next week’s episode, Goku is going to reveal his brand new Super Saiyan transformation.
This week’s episode ended in true Dragon Ball fashion with Goku firing off his most powerful kamehameha wave, and it looked like there was nothing Hit could do to stop it.
Game, set, and match. Goku had won, right? Well, according to next episode’s preview, the battle isn’t quite over yet.
In the preview, we see Hit dodge Goku’s kamehameha, and subsequently increase the limit of his time-leap to a whopping 40 seconds!
Now that Hit can freeze time for up to 40 seconds, he easily dodges Goku’s kamehameha, and starts to beat the ever-loving crap out of our hero.
But right before Goku is knocked unconscious, he gets to his feet and he starts to power up. He starts to transform.
Yep, that’s right, Goku has a brand new transformation, and we’re calling it “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan White”.
After making the transformation, the episode starts to get a little weird, and we see Vegeta jump into the ring to help Goku, even though it’s against the rules.
Vegeta also powers up and makes the transformation to “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan White”, and then the two talk for about 5 minutes before looking into each others eyes and smiling.
And then, before you know it, Goku and Vegeta are doing the fusion dance, and fuse to create “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan White Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta”!
At this point, Hit knows he’s lost, so he powers up one final attack and aims it at the audience, hoping to kill all of Gogeta’s friends and family before being beaten.
But Hit is so weak and slow compared to the powered-up “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan White Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta” that before he can even fire his attack, Gogeta teleports behind him and gives him a swift punch to the neck.
This attack causes Hit to quite literally lose his head, and Gogeta is disqualified for killing the opponent.
Since Gogeta is disqualified and Hit is dead, Monaka is the only fighter left, and universe 7 wins the tournament by default.
Nobody knows what the next arc will be in Dragon Ball Super, but as long as it contains new and creative transformations, we’ll keep coming back for more.
