Earlier in the week, the undisputed king of comedy himself Seth “Dude, weed!” Rogen announced that he was in the final stages of creating an adult-themed animated movie about food.
This new movie, aptly titled ‘Sausage Party’, is about a sentient sausage who can think, talk, walk, and, of course, smoke weed.
The title of the movie is a hilarious double entendre, as the phrase ‘sausage party’ can be used to refer to a group of men when no women are present, and it can also refer to a literal party for sausages, which is what this movie is about.
The movie centers around a sausage named ‘Frank’ who must save all of his sausage friends from being devoured by humans with the munchies.
Along the way, he falls in love with a bread roll, kills a few people, and gets into many, many more wacky situations, all while smoking weed.
In what will come as no surprise to fans of Rogen, the entire world was plunged into chaos after the trailer for his new film was put online.
Hundreds of thousands of teens were admitted to local hospitals after suffering from laughing fits, and were only able to mutter the words “dude” and “weed” for several hours after being treated.
Begrudgingly, theaters all around the country voted to ban the new movie months before its August release.
They reasoned that if teens were experiencing laughing fits from simply viewing the trailer, being exposed to the feature-length film could cause irreversible damage.
A spokesman for the theaters had this to say: “The movie is just too funny. We experienced something similar with Rogen’s last hit, but it wasn’t quite this serious.”
“It seems that Rogen has transcended all human limitations of humor. He has undoubtedly created the funniest movie of all time,” the spokesman said.
Despite the ban, several movie critics gave the unreleased film a perfect score of 10/10.
One reviewer had this to say; “Rogen is a genius. Food that smokes weed? Unbelievable. He’s a goddamn genius.”
Unleashed Reality attempted to reach out to a Rogen fan for his opinion on the controversial banning, but he was too busy getting high and watching ‘Knocked Up’ to offer a meaningful response.
